During the ODI series vs West Indies in 2007, Sourav Ganguly wore Suresh Raina‘s T-Shirt. This was because Dada didn’t receive a jersey of his size. Ganguly wore Raina’s jersey in the first 2 games of the 4-match series. He scored 98 runs in the first match and 13 in the second match. India won both the games.
#1 Suresh Raina (MS Dhoni)
Suresh Raina was seen wearing MS Dhoni’s jersey during the Sydney Test of 2014-15 tour. This wholesome gesture from Raina was a testament to the bond he shares with Dhoni. In the previous test, at Melbourne, Dhoni had announced his retirement from the longest format. So this was a tribute from Raina, for his best friend.
The Sydney Test turned out to be the last Test match of Suresh Raina. Later, the Dhoni-Raina duo announced international retirement on the same day (15 August 2020)
