1. Grant Elliot and Dale Steyn in ICC World Cup 2015

This had to be number one in the spirit of cricket moments – Elliot consoling Steyn after the 2015 ICC World Cup semi-finals. Not often you see an opposition batsman helping the bowler on the field after hitting the winning runs. New Zealand defeated South Africa at Eden Park and reached the finals of the grand event. The Kiwis required 5 off 2 when Elliot deposited a length delivery into the stands to take his team home.

The crowd erupted and the South African players were down on their knees devastated. Grant Elliot showed the ultimate sportsmanship when he picked Steyn up from the pitch and consoled him. This was a legendary moment which was a perfect end to the great game of cricket.
