According to a report by ‘the Times of India’, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 will no longer be available for streaming in India starting Thursday, April 24. The streaming rights in the country were held by the OTT sports platform, FanCode.
This move comes in the aftermath of a brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of over 25 tourists. As of now, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not issued any official statement regarding the suspension.
The ongoing PSL 2025 season began on Friday, April 11, and is set to conclude on Sunday, May 18, with the final scheduled at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Islamabad United are currently at the top of the points table, having secured 10 points from five matches.

During the IPL 2025 clash held in Hyderabad on Wednesday, April 23, players from both Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) donned black armbands to pay tribute to the victims of the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also took steps to ensure a more solemn atmosphere by suspending cheerleader performances and firework displays for the match.
Additionally, a minute’s silence was observed before the game commenced. SRH skipper Pat Cummins expressed his sorrow, stating that he was deeply saddened by the heartbreaking incident in Pahalgam.
“Yeah, it’s been heartbreaking to see. From all of us at Sunrisers and also from all the Aussies who are loved here in India, our hearts go to all the victims and the families of all those that have been affected,” Cummins said at the toss on Wednesday (via India Today).
Top Indian cricketers, including Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Suryakumar Yadav, along with several others, expressed their reactions to the terror attacks on social media.
