Sunrisers Hyderabad face a dominating Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020 Qualifier 2 in Abu Dhabi on November 8, Sunday. Mumbai Indians have already reached the finals of IPL 2020 by beating DC in the first qualifier. SRH head into this game by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator, while Delhi lost to Mumbai in the first qualifier. The winner of this game will play Mumbai in the final for the much-coveted trophy.
SRH Ahead on Momentum In IPL 2020 Qualifier 2
Sunrisers Hyderabad head into this game as the stronger of the two sides. The side has been playing knockout cricket for almost two weeks with the last few matches being knock out matches for them. The senior players in the team have shared their responsibilities beautifully. David Warner has batted with intensity at the top and Wriddhiman Saha in Jonny Bairstow’s absence has filled in his spot to perfection. Kane Williamson has taken the responsibility in the middle-order and Rashid Khan and Jason Holder has been steering the bowling attack. In short, SRH is the team with all the momentum and its their batting which has made the hard strides in the last few games.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, seems to have lost all the momentum. The loss to Mumbai Indians was a big dent to their confidence. They seem to be heavily dependent on Shikhar Dhawan with the bat and Kagiso Rabada with the ball. Though Anrich Nortje and R Ashwin have been amongst the wickets, however, Rabada’s dry run in the last few games have really hit Delhi hard. Rabada has not been at his best, going wicketless in three of the last four outings, adding to Delhi’s miseries.
Their batting especially players like Prithvi Shaw, skipper Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant have not been at their best in the last few games. Shaw has been very inconsistent for the side, which has hit them at the top as well.
Losing the first qualifier against Mumbai Indians, DC will have more pressure on them to make it through to their first-ever IPL final.

Out of the 17 games played between both sides, SRH have won 11, while DC just six. In the two league games this year, Sunrisers have beaten Delhi on both occasions.
Pitch & Weather Conditions
SRH will be better acquainted with the ground conditions in Abu Dhabi having beaten RCB at this same venue two days ago. Delhi might have learned from SRH seeing them bat in their chase. With no dew setting in during SRH’s chase last game, tos will play a huge role, possibly will be the deciding factor.

If Saha gets fit, he should replace Goswami which should be the only change in the otherwise perfect XI. Delhi having lost the first qualifier against MI should look to make a few changes. Shaw has not been at his best in recent games, also Daniel Sams did not fulfill the purpose of his inclusion. Both might be dropped against SRH.
