The Mumbai Indians is playing Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2020. Chasing a massive target 201, DC needed their star opener, Shikhar Dhawan, to once again make a notable contribution. However, Jasprit Bumrah had other plans as he executed a picture-perfect yorker and castled Dhawan.

In the very first over it was Trent Boult who had set the tone bowled an epic over. The deadly left-arm seamer dismissed Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane in the first over itself for a duck. Shaw was caught behind whereas Rahane got a peach of an inswinger from Boult and he was adjudged LBW out.

Jasprit Bumrah Perfect Yorker Removes Shikhar Dhawan

Rohit Sharma gave the second over to Bumrah hoping to make further inroads in the batting line up of DC. The quality fast bowler that is Bumrah did just that as he got the important breakthrough of Dhawan with an unplayable yorker. The DC opener was in no position to keep the yorker out as Bumrah shattered the stumps.

Dhawan was clean bowled by Bumrah for a second-ball duck which has now had DC on the ropes. In the big match, the lethal duo of Boult and Bumrah once again delivered for their side and has now made MI odds on favourite to progress through to the IPL 2020 finals. Currently, skipper Shreyas Iyer and Marcus Stoinis are trying to string together a partnership and keep their side in the match.

Earlier in the match, the batting of MI once again performed exceedingly well as they reached 200 after 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav after an early wicket again showcased his class and contributed with yet another half-century. In the death overs, it was the partnership between Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya that took MI to an exceptional score.

Kishan scored 55 from 30 balls, on the other hand, the explosive Hardik Pandya played a quickfire knock of 37 runs. The winner of the match will progress to the IPL finals and the loser will place the qualifier 2 between either RCB or SRH.
