Indian cricketers returned to the India nets ahead of their series against Australia after a long haul owing to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Fast bowler Mohammed Shami reacted after hitting the training session in the India colours which kicked off in Sydney from Sunday.

Virat Kohli & Co are currently undergoing the mandatory 14-day quarantine in Sydney. However, they have been allowed to train outdoors following the negative return of their Covid-PCR tests. Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami, who has been in brilliant form shared a clipping from the training session.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami will hope to keep up the excellent run as India look to dominate the hosts. He has been delivering the goods in the last couple of years and Shami’s prime focus will be to keep up the tempo. The fast bowler scalped 20 wickets in the recently concluded season of the IPL, where he impressed one and all with his death bowling.

Shami played a key role in India’s historic Test series win in Australia in 2018-19, where he finished with 16 wickets across four Test matches. With Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah injured, Mohammed Shami will have additional responsibilities on his shoulder.
