The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are currently without their 2 key overseas players from Australia, Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa. The director of RCB Mike Hesson has revealed when will both Richardson and Zampa be available for the side in IPL 2021. Adam Zampa hadn’t joined RCB due to his marriage, while Kane Richardson was due to fulfilling his quarantine protocols upon reaching India.
Kane Richardson And Adam Zampa Be Available From The KKR Match- Mike HessonÂ
Now, Hesson has confirmed that both the players will be open for selection for RCB”s match against Kolkata Knight Riders. RCB will take on KKR on Sunday in a day game and as per Hesson both Richardson and Zampa will be available for selection. Also, Hesson made it clear that opener Devdutt Padikkal who missed the last match after recovering from COVID-19 is now ready to go and will be available for tonight’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
“We won’t have our full contingent of overseas players available for the first game. Adam Zampa is getting married. It’s an important time for him and it’s something that as a franchise we are aware of and we respect and we hope he has a great time. So when he joins us, once again he is going to be fresh and make a massive contribution to the rest of the tournament”, Mike Hesson had said just before the IPL 2021 commenced.

Meanwhile, Zampa and Richardson are expected to play a key role for RCB as the tournament progresses. as the pitches get slower, Zampa is likely to feature in the playing XI and bowl in tandem with Yuzvendra Chahal. As far as Richardson is concerned he will also be in the scheme of things to improve the death bowling of RCB which has always been their Achilles heel.
Furthermore, the Virat Kohli led RCB started their IPL campaign with an impressive win over the defending champs Mumbai Indians and will now be up against SRH tonight in Chennai.
