West Indies cricketer Fabian Allen took a spectacular one-handed catch to dismiss Australian skipper Aaron Finch. Fielding at long-on, the athletic player ran towards his left to hold on to catch which was a crucial moment in the game.
Chasing a target of 200, Australia were once again boosted by a Mitchell Marsh knock at the top. They reached an excellent position of 93/2 after 9 overs. The moment of magic came in the next over, which derailed the Australian chase. Hayden Walsh Jr bowled a low full-toss which was slapped aerially by Aaron Finch.
At the time, Finch was on 34*, and looked good to play the long innings. However, he came to regret the shot immediately. Running towards his left, Fabian Allen put a dive and grabbed the fast-traveling ball with one hand to send Aaron Finch back to the hut. He was jubilated following the stunner and set on a celebration lap. He also finished the series with 7 catches, a record in a T20I bilateral series.

Fabian Allen’s catch proved to be a turning point in the game
A set Aaron Finch was just about to let loose and break the shackles. Unfortunately, his untimely dismissal following Fabian Allen’s fabulous catch resulted in an all too familiar collapse for the Australian side. Their middle-order, which has been weak throughout the series, once again failed to deliver. As a result, the Baggy Greens succumbed to their fourth loss in the series.
While the result of the game was inconsequential to the outcome of the series, the Australians will rue their batting display. This was a good chance for the fringe players to come good because of the absence of senior players. However, apart from Mitchell Marsh, none of them spent enough time at the crease to warrant a place in the side.
Josh Philippe, Ben McDermott, Daniel Christian, and Ashton Agar were extremely disappointing. With the ODI series starting on July 21, the Aussies will have to script a quick turn-around to beat a confident Windies side.
