Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Jos Buttler plucked a one-handed stunning catch to get rid of Punjab Kings (PBKS) opener Shikhar Dhawan. The left-hander had to go back to the pavilion cheaply at the Wankhede Stadium.
Punjab Kings openers Shikhar Dhawan and Johnny Bairstow began the match proceedings. The duo started off cautiously scoring just 17 runs in the first three overs. Earlier in the match, Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bat first. Skipper Mayank Agarwal expressed that the wicket might slow down as the game progresses, and assist spinners. He also praised Liam Livingstone‘s match-winning cameo in the last match.
“Looks like a good wicket, might get slower as the game progresses. It is important to understand the conditions. It might turn in the second innings. Fantastic from Liam to go out there and do what he did, I am glad,” said Mayank Agarwal. The Punjab Kings are unchanged.
