David Warner is one of the greats of the game and has been a regular in all the teams he represents for years. He is an all format icon and has been a role model for youngsters who want to grow and become a cricket player.

David Warner was part of the Delhi Capitals side back in the inaugural years of the IPL. He has been a class player in the IPL since the start and has been scoring at a consistent pace for a long time now. But people have also known him for his rude and arrogant behaviour with the players.

Virender Sehwag has made a serious accusation about the Australian southpaw and his behaviour back when he was with the Delhi Daredevils (now known as Capitals) and Sehwag was the captain. Sehwag has claimed that they had to send Warner back home after his arrogant behaviour and he used to fight with the players. He said:

“I too have vented out my frustrations on a couple of players and David Warner was one of them. Because when he had joined newly, he partied more than believing in practice or playing matches. In the first year, he had a fight with a few players so we sent him back for the last two matches.”

Sehwag further said: “Sometimes it happens that you keep someone out to teach them a lesson. He was new so it was important to show him that you alone are not important for the team, others are too. There are other players who can play and win the match for the team too. And that’s what happened. We kept him out of the team and won as well”

David Warner has certainly improved his behaviour and form for the better and has helped him and his reputation a lot. Warner is known for scoring runs at an excellent pace and can punish the opposition once he settles down at the crease. He was captain of the SRH side that won the IPL back in 2016 and scored more than 800 runs in that season.
