We don’t want to hype this game within ourselves: Rohit Sharma on the INDvPAK match
India and Pakistan have a long history on and off the field. The rivalry between the neighbors is always expected to be fierce, with a massive hype surrounding the game. The pressure of this high-octane clash usually gets to the players of both teams. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma wants to keep his dressing atmosphere normal ahead of their opening match.
“Everyone watches the game especially India vs Pakistan. Without a doubt, it is a high-pressure game. But within the group, we want to create a normal atmosphere and don’t want to hype this game within ourselves. For us, it is just a game of cricket. It is important for me and Rahul Bhai to tell the players that it’s just another opposition,” said Rohit Sharma as quoted by the Hindustan Times.
