While on the field, it was all about Kohli v. Khan; the latter’s post was one of respect and honor toward the Indian batting legend.
The gesture itself speaks of how sportsmanship and camaraderie can live even among cricketers, despite the cutthroat competition. The post has been appreciated and commented upon by many fans and compatriots, who congratulated Khan for his humility for acknowledging Kohli’s greatness.

On April 2, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans crushed Royal Challengers Bengaluru in match 14 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). An eight-wicket win was sealed in favor of the Titans due to excellent performances from Mohammed Siraj and Jos Buttler. Siraj took three important wickets, while Buttler made a quickfire 73 off 39 deliveries.
For the first time in three matches, the flamboyant RCB batting top order, with the likes of Virat Kohli, faltered, with the team struggling at 42-4. Kohli opened the innings for his team, and he fell for a mere seven runs after Arshad Khan had cleaned him up. It was some 14 overs after Khan bowled a relatively short ball to Kohli and, while it was cramped for room, Kohli attempted a pull shot, which went into the hands of Prasidh Krishna at deep backward square.
It was a statement victory for the Titans in IPL 2025 and signaled their dominance over RCB.
