In the 2023 Ashes, Ali successfully made a comeback to Test cricket. Ali took two Australian wickets on day two of the first Test, with Cameron Green, his second catch, being the most exquisite. Ali threw the ball outside the off-stump and convinced Green to play a cover drive.
Green was taken aback by Ali’s peach of a delivery, which caused the ball to crash into the stumps because there was a significant gap between his bat and pad. One of Ali’s best dismissals in his Test career is the aforementioned one of Green.
2 Virat Kohli Chennai, 2021
In a Test match against India in Chennai in 2021, Moeen Ali bowled an absolute stunner that dismissed Virat Kohli for a duck. Ali’s delivery turned square, passed through the then-Indian captain Virat Kohli, and crashed into his stumps on a wicket that was favorable to spinners.
Kohli was taken aback by the delivery, and the star Indian batsman was out for no runs after being bowled out. For the first time ever in a Test match, a spinner dismissed Kohli for a duck.
3 Virat Kohli, Pune 2021
Ali once again bowled a stunning delivery to clean bowl Virat Kohli of India in an ODI match that took place in Pune in 2021. Moeen Ali bowled a short delivery, and Kohli was attempting to cut it.
The ball unexpectedly turned more than Kohli anticipated and slammed into his stumps. Virat Kohli was out for just seven runs, and Ali once more defeated Kohli by rattling his stumps.
4 Ravindra Jadeja, Lords 2021
Teammates at the Chennai Super Kings are Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja. On the cricket field, however, the two have engaged in a number of bloody fights. At Lord’s in 2021, during India’s second innings, Ali defeated the Indian all-rounder.

To get past Rossouw’s outside edge and remove his bails, Moeen Ali bowled around the wicket and at him from behind the wicket. Rossouvw received a 31.
