Whether it be his views on mankading dismissal or entertaining all his fans on social media, Ashwin has done it all. Now with business about to pick up the off-spinner is training hard in the practice sessions of the Delhi Capitals.

The able spinner doesn’t shy away from experimenting with the ball in his hand in the nets. Recently Ashwin gave another impression of his talent as he stunned everyone. The 33-year-old sure is a master of deception as he has various tricks up his sleeve. Earlier we saw him bowling some leggies in the nets which bamboozled all the Delhi Capitals batsmen. Ashwin will have a massive role to play for his new franchise on the spin-friendly surfaces in the United Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile last year Ashwin was the captain of the Kings XI Punjab but was traded to the DC ahead of the IPL 2020 season. The young captain of the franchise Shreyas Iyer will bank on the experience and class of Ashwin and will be hoping that he delivers for his side this year. Delhi Capitals finished 3rd last year as they qualified for the playoffs after a wait of 7 long years.

Furthermore, Delhi Capitals will take on Ashwin’s previous team KXIP in their opening clash on 20th September. The season kicks off as a day earlier on September 19 as the Mumbai Indians will lock horns with the Chennai Super Kings at Abu Dhabi.
