The young Prithvi Shaw impressed one and all in his debut test series against West Indies at home. He made 237 runs in 2 matches (3 innings). He scored quick fire 134 runs at Rajkot and helped India post a massive total.

Shaw is almost certain to open the innings for India in the first test match to be played at Adelaide Oval from 6th December will be looking to impress on his 1st Australian tour. With openers struggling to give starts in South Africa and England this year, Shaw will face a test against top quality Australia bowling line up.
It will be important for Shaw to give India a good start so that others can build to post a massive total.
