Dinesh Karthik has brought and delivered some fresh & exclusive lines during commentary. Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik started his commentary journey in the ICC World Test Champion Final. Meanwhile Now Dinesh was seen once again at the commentary table in the second ODI between England and Sri Lanka at The Oval on Friday. In the second One-day international match between England and Sri Lanka at the Oval, fans witnessed Dinesh Karthik compare bats and neighbour’s wives.

The wicketkeeper-batsman said on air:

The 36-year-old also grabbed the limelight when he trolled former England captain Nasser Hussain during his commentary. Dinesh Karthik has earned a lot of applause from social media users for his amusing commentary. Renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle also praised him for curling magic with words.

Talking about the match itself England chased the target given by Sri Lankans comfortably. In the second One-Day International at Oval England won the toss and invited Sri Lanka to bat first. Sri Lanka gave a target of 242 runs to the hosts, While batting only 2 batsmen from Sri Lanka played good knocks; Dhananjaya de Silva 91, while Dasun Shanaka scored 47 runs.

England aggressively started the chase, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow were seen comfortable while batting against the Sri Lankan bowling unit. Roy smashed a brilliant 60 runs before giving his wicket away to Karunaratne, Another half of the opening pair Jonny Bairstow got out after scoring 29 runs.

However, after that, the game was finished for Sri Lankans. White ball captain Eoin Morgan and Red Ball captain Joe Root came to bat and demolished the bowling unit. Root played a sensational unbeaten knock of 68 and Morgan smashes exceptional 75 not out. With the help 140-run partnership between the batters, England won the three-match series with one match left.
