The five-match ODI series between India and Windies will commence on October 21. The venue for the second match has already been shifted to Vizag from Indore due to a rift between the state board and BCCI over complimentary tickets.
The CCI Stadium, Mumbai is all set to host an International game after a decade as the fourth ODI has been shifted from Wankhede stadium.
Though the reasons for the same aren’t out yet, a press release from. BCCI read “Under the instructions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India appointed Committee of Administrators, the fourth One-day International match between India and Windies scheduled on 29th October at Wankhede Stadium has been shifted to Cricket Club of India, Mumbai.”
Last time, a test match was played against Australia at the very venue in 2009. The match will be played on 29th October and the ticket details for the same are expected to be out soon.
Windies have shown an excellent fightback in the second test after their thrashing at Rajkot. Hyderabad is expected to be jam-packed as the stage is all set for a thrilling day 2.
