Ajaz Patel alerted Bangladesh’s Mominul Haque about the potential of a non-striker runout during the first Test at Sylhet on Tuesday, November 28.

During the first Test between New Zealand and Bangladesh in Sylhet on Tuesday, November 28, in the 39th over of Bangladesh’s innings, Ajaz Patel, the left-arm spinner, noticed Mominul Haque leaving the crease before releasing the ball.

“In these circumstances the non-striker will be out Run out if he/she is out of his/her ground when his/her wicket is broken by the bowler throwing the ball at the stumps or by the bowler’s hand holding the ball, whether or not the ball is subsequently delivered.”
