Chris Gayle is all set to play the Everest Premier League in Nepal

Star batsman and the greatest T20 batsman Christopher Henry Gayle a.k.a. Chris Gayle is all set to play the Everest Premier League in Nepal. The swashbuckling batsman from Jamaica is all set to play his trade in the Everest Premier League for Pokhara Rhinos. 

The fourth edition of the Everest Premier League will begin on the 29th of February which will also feature the greatest T20 batsman of all times Chris Gayle. 

The former Windies skipper released a video on twitter and said that he was really excited to play in the Everest Premier League in Nepal. With a big player like Gayle playing in Nepal's very own league will help the Nepalese boost cricket in their own country.

Gayle urged the fans to come in big numbers to support the tournament as he expressed his excitement to play in it for the very first time.

Gayle also tweeted I will be visiting Nepal for the biggest sporting event, the Everest Premier League,” Chris Gayle said in a video message on Twitter.  “Come and support my team Pokhara Rhinos and be part of a magnificent cricket fiesta.”

Gayle played his last International game against India in the One day series but continued to play franchise cricket al over the world as the former Windies Skipper played in South Africa's T20 league for the Jozi Stars in the Mzansi Premier League. The veteran batsman also represented Chattogram Challengers in the Bangladesh Premier League in the second half of the tournament, he scored 144 runs in four games.

He has not played any international cricket since the home series against India in August and also showed his unavailability for the away series against India in November and December.
