It was a night for Sheldon Cotterell to remember in CPL 2021. He played a big role in his team maintaining an unbeaten run in this edition of the tournament. St Kitts & Nevis went past Barbados Royals in their last game with Cottrell scoring 20 off 7 to win the game for his side. Meanwhile, it was heartbreak for the Royals who have lost four out of their five games.
Chasing 161 for 8, Patriots were in a precarious position after their middle-order collapse triggered by Nyeem Young. The medium-pacer ran through the middle order to reduce them from 84 for 1 to 98 for 6.
Cotterell hit a six off the last ball with Ashley Nurse giving away five off his first five balls in the last over of the game. His scoring shots were 6,4,2,1,0, 1, 6 in the seven balls that he faced.

Sheldon Cotterell Wins it With A Last Ball Six
He then came up with an interesting tweet mocking former Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer who is an expert himself at dishing out viral tweets.
Hum bowling pe itni koshish karte hai jitna Jaffar apne tweets pe karta hai. https://t.co/EMB7LxLi4k

“Hum bowling pe itni koshish karte hai jitna Jaffar apne tweets pe karta hai” The Windies pacer tweeted.
After helping his team win the match, Sheldon Cotterell spoke at the post-match presentation being very ecstatic with the bat.
“As a bowler, we don’t bat much. So whenever we go out in the middle we just enjoy our batting. There is no pressure like a batsman. I have had experience in those types of situations and knew what I was getting into. This is the first game that my knees have given me a chance to be myself and I was able to put full effort in the field (referring to his one-handed catch). It was an honest conversation between two (himself and Drakes) bowlers, it is unfortunate he was not there to bring us over the line but I did it for him” Cotterell said.
