The Cricfit Premier League (CPL) on Day 5 witnessed a battle between the U19 Girls as Kamath Memorial Cricket Club took on the Negev Cricket Academy in a one sided affair at the Thakur Cricket Stadium in Kandivali. Negev Cricket Academy suffered a mighty defeat as they were restricted for 64 at the end of 20 overs losing the match by a whopping margin of 81 runs.
It all started at the toss as Kamath Memorial Cricket Club played to their strengths as after winning the toss they elected to bat first. After starting off briskly, they lost couple of early wickets in the form of Shraddha Shetty and Pranjal Gurav but what followed the two wickets was an absolute onslaught launched on the bowling side as Tanisha Gaikwad in a 96 run partnership with Riya Salunkhe took them to an above par score of 145 at the end of 20 overs.

In the aftermath, Negev Cricket Academy had a disappointing start to the innings which ended in a disastrous fashion as they could only manage 64 runs at the end of 20 overs, losing the match by a colossal margin of 81 runs with no batsman being able to contribute with the bat. Tanisha Gaikwad was awarded the player of the match award for scoring 56 runs off just 41 deliveries.
