MS Dhoni, the CSK skipper was a relieved man after Sunday’s win. However, their overall campaign so far has left him disappointed. This was not a good for him personally as well. He scored 199 runs from 12 games without a half-century to his name.

Speaking after CSK’s emphatic eight-wicket win over RCB, MS Dhoni asserted that the Chennai side doesn’t stand a chance to make it to the playoffs this season.

“You do quite a few things, show a bit more emotion (on the happier side) so that the guys feel a bit more confident and relaxed. If you don’t do well, it does hurt and so you amplify a few emotions so that the guys don’t leave the games. We don’t really have a chance to make it to the playoffs, leave the mathematical part of it,” Dhoni said at the post-match press conference.
