The express fast bowler from South Africa, Dale Steyn has played 125 matches (124 innings) and taken 196 wickets with an economy of 4.87 runs per over. In recent times, he has been struggling off injuries which have affected South African bowling.

In the 2015 World Cup, Steyn took 11 wickets from 8 matches and helped South Africa reach the semi-finals. He has been included in the 2019 World Cup squad.

South African fans would be hoping that Steyn remains injury free and help the Proteas lift their first title. Steyn will play an important in picking early wickets if the conditions help the fast bowlers in England.
