The Delhi Capitals (DC) team bus reached Bengaluru ahead of their IPL 2025 clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). What stood out was a playful message directed at RCB’s icon, Virat Kohli. Placed just below the number plate, the printed question quickly drew the attention of fans. It read:

“Anyone up for some Dal Makhani, Paneer Khurchan and Garlic Naan?”

It’s interesting to note that these dishes are among Virat Kohli‘s personal favorites. In an Instagram live session with Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri, Kohli revealed that these are the meals he enjoys indulging in during a cheat day dinner.

The IPL 2025 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) is set to take place at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday, April 12. Delhi have had a flawless start to their season, winning all three of their matches so far. Meanwhile, Bengaluru have secured three victories from four games, with one loss.

Notably, Virat Kohli boasts an exceptional track record against Delhi. He has scored the highest number of runs against them in IPL history—amassing 1,057 runs at an impressive strike rate of 134.99 across 29 matches, with an average of 50.33.

Virat Kohli is the top scorer for RCB in the IPL 2025 season

Virat Kohli has been in fine touch in the ongoing IPL 2025 season. With 164 runs in four matches at a strike rate of 143.85, he currently leads the scoring charts for RCB. The star batter kicked off the campaign with an unbeaten 59 off 36 balls in Bengaluru’s seven-wicket win over reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the season opener.

Kohli followed it up with another solid performance, registering his second half-century of the season against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Monday, April 7. He scored 67 off 42 deliveries, helping RCB edge out MI by 12 runs in a last-over thriller—marking their first win at the venue in a decade.
