Ace all-rounder Deepak Hooda has opened up on his tainted relationship with Krunal Pandya. Incidentally, Hooda had moved out of the Baroda bio-bubble a year ago following a spat with Krunal.
The former had then accused Krunal of bullying and misbehaviour when the unit had assembled for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Hooda had then also quit Baroda and joined hands with Rajasthan to play domestic cricket.
However, they ended up in the same team in IPL 2022 after Lucknow Super Giants bid for both all-rounders. There were speculations how things will turn but both Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya have been gelling well.
Speaking to Dainik Jagran, Hooda has opened up about the relationship both of them share. He said:
“Krunal Pandya is like my brother, and brothers do fight. We are playing with one aim, which is to win games for LSG,” said Hooda.
Images emerged of both Deepak and Krunal hugging each other during Lucknow’s first game against Gujarat Titans earned praise from all quarters on social media. Since then, both have been putting in significant contributions with both bat and ball for the franchise.

With the T20 World Cup approaching, everyone is eyeing in the squad for the mega event. Hooda said all he needs to do is keep performing and leave everything rest for the selectors to decide.
“Just like everyone even my dream is to represent India at World Cup, however, my job is deliver good performances and leave the rest for the selectors to decide,” he added.
“I’m an all-rounder and along with the bat, my target is to perform well with the ball too and I don’t think anything else apart from this,” Hooda concluded.
