Dinesh Karthik is a happy captain after their win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi. As the Kolkata Knight Riders side comprehensively beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad side after Shubman Gill’s stellar show with the bat. The bowling performance of the KKR franchise can be forgotten as they bowled brilliantly to restrict the SRH batsmen to just 144 runs in the first innings.
With all being said, Dinesh Karthik appeared on Ravichandran Ashwin’s talk show which is hosted by Ashwin himself on YouTube. It’s been a while since Ashwin started his YouTube channel where numerous guests have appeared on the show. So this time the all-rounder from Tamil Nadu invited his stateside companion Dinesh Karthik on the Show.
Karthik picks 3 cricketers to trade from DC to KKR
The Show titled ‘Hello Dubaiahh’ started off Ashwin and Karthik conversing about various things related to spending time in the bubble. After which Ashwin posed a question related to the Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders franchise since both of them play for those two franchises.

Ashwin asked Karthik, given in a hypothetical scenario wherein if he had to trade three players from DC for three players from KKR, then who would they be. The Delhi Capitals player posed the question giving a reference from the movie Pandavar Bhoomi.
“I’ll give you a hypothetical scenario. In the movie Pandavar Bhoomi, there’s one family. So, you have to the opportunity to adopt three and give me three to adopt,” Ashwin told Karthik on the YouTube show ‘Hello Dubaiaah’ hosted by the former.
Karthik in reply to the question said that he would exchange Lockie Ferguson, Nitish Rana, and Sunil Narine for the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin from the side. Since all these three players possess the same qualities as the other three players from the other franchise.
“From your team Rabada. I’ll give Lockie Ferguson and take Kagiso Rabada. Another player… Who’s our No.3? Nitish Rana. So, I’ll give Nitish Rana to Delhi take Shreyas Iyer. Sunil Narine for R Ashwin,” Karthik said.
