Ish Sodhi

Ish Sodhi

Ish Sodhi was born in Ludhiana, Punjab on October 31, 1992. His full name is Inderbir Singh Sodhi. He moved to Papatoetoe, New Zealand with his family when he was four years old. The leg-spinner made his debut for the New Zealand test debut in 2013 against Bangladesh. Since then he has played 19 test matches and taken 54 wickets.

Sodhi has been one of the best spinners in New Zealand. He made his ODI debut in 2015 against Zimbabwe and has played 39 ODIs so far, with 51 wickets to his name. Ish Sodhi is the fourth-highest wicket-taker in T20Is. He has 114 wickets in 91 matches, with 4/28 as his best bowling figures.
