Shivnarine Chanderpaul was considered one of the best batters in the longer format of the game. He is of Indian origin, and his ancestors moved from India to the West Indies. Chanderpaul was born in Unity Village, Guyana on 16 August 1974. He made his Test debut in 1994 against England at Georgetown.

In his more than a decade-long career, Shivnarine has played 164 Tests, 268 ODIs, and 22 T20Is. He has scored over 11000 thousand Test runs, with 8778 runs in ODIs. Overall, he has scored 41 centuries in International cricket across formats. The West Indies cricketer announced his retirement in 2016.

Gurinder Sandhu is also of Indian descent. He is a tall right-handed fast bowler playing for Australia. The pacer was born in 1993 in Blacktown, New South Wales. He represented the country in the 2012 edition of the Under 19 World Cup. Gurinder Sandhu made his debut for Australia in 2015 against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He has played just two ODI matches so far, taking three wickets, at an average of 35.66. The right-arm bowler has also played for the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League.
