ENG vs IND: [WATCH] Jasprit Bumrah’s Witty Reply To Fan Asking For Wicket Goes Viral

India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah gave a cheeky response to a fan during the third Test against England at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground. While fielding near the boundary, Bumrah was approached by a vocal supporter who shouted at him, prompting the pacer to suggest that the fan try bowling himself.

“Jasprit, I want wicket,” the fan could be heard saying.

The 31-year-old responded with a touch of humour. Without even looking back, Jasprit Bumrah gestured with his left hand towards the pitch, signaling that the fan should go ahead and bowl himself.

The ongoing Test match has proven to be highly competitive. As play approaches the final day, India are positioned at 58 for 4 while chasing a target of 193 in the fourth innings. The visitors require a further 135 runs to secure victory and take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. However, with England needing only six more wickets, the match remains delicately poised.

Bumrah Makes History At Lord’s With Honours Board Entry

Jasprit Bumrah returned at Lord’s with a brilliant five-wicket haul, dismissing top England batters and finishing with 5/74. He earned a spot on the Lord’s Honours Board and surpassed Kapil Dev for the most five-fors (13) by an Indian pacer in away Tests.

Additionally, he equalled legendary Pakistan seamer Wasim Akram for the most five-wicket hauls (13) by an Asian pacer in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia) countries. Bumrah now holds the record for the most five-wicket hauls (12) in the history of the World Test Championship (WTC) as well.

Notably, the 31-year-old had also claimed a five-for in the opening Test at Headingley. In the second innings at Lord’s, he continued to trouble the English batters, taking 2 for 38—including the dismissals of Chris Woakes and Brydon Carse, as India bowled England out for just 192.
