Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was photographed with a young fan in London on Sunday, July 13. The 36-year-old last featured in competitive cricket during IPL 2025, where he played a pivotal role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s title triumph on June 3. Since then, Kohli has been spending time in London.

Later that day, X user Haroun Rashid (@HarounRashid2) posted a photo of Kohli alongside his grandson, accompanied by the caption:

“Grandson Izzy over the moon as he ran into his cricketing idol ⁦@imVkohli⁩ in Holland Park today #London.”

On July 7, Virat Kohli was spotted in the stands at Wimbledon 2025, enjoying the tournament alongside his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. The following day, he also made an appearance at the high-profile YWC Gala hosted by former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London.

The event supported the YouWeCan Foundation, an initiative launched by the two-time World Cup champion, focused on raising funds to aid cancer treatment for women and children in India.

During the YWC Gala on July 8, Virat Kohli cracked a humorous comment about his Test retirement. While addressing the audience at the event, the 36-year-old joked:

“I just coloured my beard two days ago. You know it’s time when you are colouring your beard every four days,” [as quoted by TOI].

The Delhi-born batter brought the curtains down on his red-ball career after featuring in 123 Test matches for India. Over the course of 210 innings, he amassed 9,230 runs at an impressive average of 46.85, which included 31 fifties and 30 hundreds.

Considered among the finest batters of the modern era, Kohli is India’s second-leading run-scorer in international cricket. He has played 550 matches, scoring 27,599 runs at an average of 52.27. His record includes 143 fifties and 82 hundreds, with only Sachin Tendulkar ahead of him with 34,357 runs.
