England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has named 55 players that will begin their outdoor training. Liam Plunkett and Alex Hales were two big names that were missing from the player’s list. Plunkett was part of England’s world cup winning campaign last year. Whereas Hales was still neglected because of his failed drug test that took place last year just before the world cup.

The ECB has confirmed that the players will return to training as they prepare to play cricket behind closed doors. England limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan, James Anderson and Jofra Archer have all been named among the 55 players.

Eoin Morgan limited-overs captain of England will soon resume training.

England to resume training

ECB has stated that once the UK government gives them the clearance, cricket may resume in England. They were scheduled to play a series with West Indies and Pakistan in July and August. The Board is working closely with its county partners so that the player’s safety is not compromised.

Some other prominent names that will begin their outdoor training are Moeen Ali, Stuart Broad, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow among others. England last played a match earlier this year which was T20 match against South Africa away from home. Here are the names of the entire 55 players of England.
