Sreesanth picks IPL 2020 winner

The 37-year-old from Kerala also picked his Top 4 teams that will play the playoffs if played this year in a live Helo session. He backed the defending champions Mumbai Indians to once again go through the playoffs. Mumbai Indians are the most successful IPL time of all time with most titles. They won the IPL in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019 under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.

Sreesanth also backed the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings to make the playoffs. CSK have made the most playoffs in IPL history and are the most consistent IPL team. The remaining two sides that he picked were the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. RCB have been the underachievers in the IPL as they have never gone on and won the title.

Virat Kohli’s side wasn’t able to make the playoffs last year and have been struggling in the last few years. On the other hand, Sunrisers have improved immensely since winning the IPL trophy in 2016. David Warner was slated to captain SRH in this year’s IPL who led them to glory in 2016. In the end, Sreesanth felt that Mumbai Indians are strong contenders to finish as the IPL 2020 winner.
