The squad for the second Test against India has been announced by the England Cricket Board today. A couple of expected changes have been made as Ben Stokes and David Malan didn”t find their names on the list.

Ben Stokes will be undergoing his formal hearing on his midnight brawl which in fact hindered his progress a few months back. On the other hand, Dawid Malan wasn”t at his best in the last game. Ollie Pope, the 20-year-old youngster from Surrey has received his maiden national call-up. His fantastic outing in the county championship has played a vital role in earning this call. On the other hand, all-rounder Chris Woakes is all set to replace Stokes for the second test at the home of cricket.
