Although India started the third Test against England winning the toss. However other than Toss nothing went in India’s favor. Each and everything went completely opposite and the batting first decision turned out to be a bad decision for India. India’s top-order batting unit collapsed very soon and Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara was once again under the scanner and fans on Twitter wanted Hanuma Vihari to replace Pujara.
India’s top order put out the horror show against England in Headingley, Leeds Test. Veteran pacer James Anderson gave the big blow to India in the first over itself dismissing man in red hot from KL Rahul on duck. Soon India’s Test specialist batsman Cheteshwar Pujara came to bat and got out on the score of 1. Meanwhile, Once again the bowler was 39-year-old Anderson.

Things were not over yet as India lost their biggest wicket, which was of captain Virat Kohli (7), the bowler was once again James Anderson. Overall James Anderson single-handedly destroyed India’s top-order batting unit.
Fans on Twitter were very upset after the poor performance of Cheteshwar Pujara. Notably, Pujara hasn’t scored a half-century in his last 12 Test innings. Also in Nottingham Test, he got out on 4 in the first innings and Lord’s Test he got out on the score of 9 in the first innings. Meanwhile in the second innings at Lord’s, he scored good 45 runs.
However with the continuous failure of Pujara eventually at a point in time, India will look for other options like Mayank Agarwal and Hanuma Vihari available in the squad.

I would prefer rather see Vihari and some young players at #3 & #5 than Pujara & Rahane because if they get out early atleast we’ll have hope to see them improve later.
