A small clip of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan congratulating Hardik’s Father for raising a gem for Indian cricket melted several hearts. The Indian all-rounder will return on the cricket field next month during the Test series against England. After his brilliant performances in the white-ball series against Australia, selectors have shown faith in Hardik and picked him in the Test squad.

Earlier this month, Hardik returned to outdoor training and looked ready for a big cricketing season ahead. It will be interesting to see whether Hardik is picked in the side as a specialist batsman or he will resume bowling and plays as an all-rounder. The 4 Test match series between India and England will kick off from 5th February at Chennai.
