Hardik Pandya is gearing up for what will be an exciting 5 match T20I series against England. The T20I series between India and England will begin on March 12 and all 5 matches will be played at Ahmedabad. Hardik Pandya is keen to step on the field again and win matches for the men in blue.
After his heroics in the T20I series against Australia, Hardik has not played any match for team India. The team management is keeping him fresh for a big cricketing season ahead. The Indian all-rounder looked at his best in the net session ahead of the T20I series in which he smashed huge sixes against both pace and spin.
Hardik Pandya is undoubtedly one of the key members of India’s white-ball squad as he provides the right balance and can contribute with both bat and ball. The Indian cricket fans will be happy to see that Hardik Pandya was also spotted bowling in the video and hinted that he will play as a specialist all-rounder against England.
Hardik Pandya Smashes Huge Sixes In The Nets
The 27-year-old practised under lights at Ahmedabad and focused and keeping his shape while executing big strokes. It was evident that Hardik is trying to practice the lofted extra cover drives more as teams now bowl full and wide to him during end overs. Hardik is now trying to have a game plan against it and was seen hitting sixes through the off side by being dep in the crease.
As far as his power-hitting against spinners is concerned, Hardik Pandya as usual focused on hitting down the ground. He looked at his best as he smashed bowlers for gigantic sixes with absolutely minimum effort.

The team management including coach Ravi Shastri, batting coach Vikram Rathour and captain Virat Kohli were keeping a close eye on Hardik Pandya while he was batting in the nets. Hardik posted the video on his official Instagram account and wrote. “preparation done ✅🇮🇳 Can’t wait to get on the field on the 12th”.
