#3. Josh Inglis’s FC, List A, and T20 Debut

 Inglis had a decent outing in his debut First-class match, which took place in December 2015 at Brisbane. Notably, the match was part of the West Indies tour of the Australia series. Josh Inglish scored good 44 runs in the match before getting out against West Indies skipper Jason Holder. The wicket-keeper played his first-ever List A match for Cricket Australia XI against Pakistan. Notably, that match was played in Brisbane during the Pakistan tour of Australia, January 2017.
However, that match didn’t turn out to be a good one for CA XI as they lost to Pakistan by 196 runs. In that match, Australia XI was bowled out for 138 but Josh Inglis shined as he smashed 70 runs off just 64 balls. Inglis made his Twenty20 debut in the 2017–18 Big Bash League (BBL) for Perth Scorchers on 23 December 2017 against Sydney Sixers. Also, Scorchers won that game by 6 wickets (with 11 balls remaining). However, the wicketkeeper-batsman didn’t get the chance to bat in that match.
#2. Josh Inglis smashed back to back 400+ runs in BBL
The wicketkeeper batter was very impressive and consistent with the bat in one of the most famous T20 leagues in the world; Big Bash League(BBL). In the 2019-20 season, Inglis smashed 405 runs in 14 games at an average of 28.92 and strike rate of 153.99 for Perth Scorchers. Meanwhile, in the 2020-21 season, he once again looked brilliant for Scorchers.
As he played 17 matches for the team and scored 413 runs at an average of 34.41 and strike rate of 140.00. Also in that season, Perth Scorchers came very close to winning the title. However, in the finals, they were defeated by Sydney Sixers by 27 runs in the final match. Notably, in the final match, Josh Inglis contributed 22 runs with the bat.
