The T20I series against Australia will be special for Suryakumar Yadav, as he will be making his captaincy debut for Team India. He will be keen to lead from the front, performing well with the bat for his team. Suryakumar Yadav is currently the top-ranked batter in the format.

In 53 matches, he has scored 1841 runs at a strike rate of 46.02, including three centuries and 15 fifties. He will have to tackle Adam Zampa in the upcoming game. The spinner will be coming into the series riding high on confidence, owing to his World Cup performance.
