All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja continues to showcase his brilliance in the ongoing test match against Sri Lanka at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. After a fantastic batting performance, Jadeja’s bowling did the magic.
The all-rounder dismissed Lahiru Kumara for a golden duck to complete his five wickets in the first innings. Kumara missed a straight delivery from Jadeja and was sent back to the pavilion. This wicket marked Jadeja’s tenth five-wicket haul in test matches and became the 12th Indian to do so.
Earlier in the innings, Jadeja dismissed the Sri Lankan skipper Dimuth Karunaratne for a golden duck. Karunaratne tried to defend an in-spinner, on the back foot and missed it completely.

Later, Jadeja struck two wickets in the same over dismissing Niroshan Dickwella (2) and Suranga Lakmal (0). He also took the wicket of Vishwa Fernando for a duck. Fernando gave a simple catch to Rohit Sharma at the Gully.
Ravindra Jadeja is being hailed by cricket pundits and fans for his all-round brilliance. He slammed 175 runs in the first innings, to help India to get to 574 runs. His knock included 17 boundaries and three sixes. With this, Jadeja became only the fourth player in history to have a 175+ score and a five-wicket haul in the same Test.
Meanwhile, India has enforced the follow-on, after bowling Sri Lanka out for 174 runs. In the second innings, Sri Lanka has already lost Lahiru Thirimanne, for a duck. Dimuth Karunaratne is at the crease with Pathum Nissanka.
