With the T20Is done and dusted, the caravan shifts to the Test series between India and Sri Lanka. The IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali will host the first of the two Tests starting March 4 (Friday).
The spotlight will be on former captain Virat Kohli, who will be playing his 100th Test match. The stage is set for the charismatic run-scorer to celebrate the milestone with a century, that has been lacking in the past two years.
India will also be without Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, who have been dropped owing to their poor form. The Test presents an opportunity to the youngsters to stamp their authority at the biggest stage.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka have had a great start to their ICC World Test Championship, winning the first two games. They will hope to continue the winning run against the mighty Indians, who are a tough nut to crack on home conditions.
