The Dindigul Dragons star is the highest run-scorer in the Tamil Nadu Premier League with 1240 runs across four seasons. He is also a regular feature for Tamil Nadu in the domestic circuit. With star openers like Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis falling on the wrong side of the age group and Murali Vijay not in the best of form, Jagdeeshan can be a good option.

Moreover, the youngster can also bat any position and MS Dhoni can use him in any position. As a result, Jagadeesan will be one of the new picks to watch out for in Chennai Super Kings.
