IPL 2020 just upon us and the biggest T20 extravaganza is all set to take centre stage from September 19 in the UAE. All the franchises are gearing up for the much-awaited season in full flow as they are now having proper net sessions. As a result, fans are now getting to see exclusive glimpses of their favourite players fine-tuning their skills on various social media platforms. Now, the Delhi Capitals have posted a new video on their official accounts where Rishabh Pant can be seen smashing sixes at will at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE.

Pant has been phenomenal for Delhi Capitals (DC) so far in his IPL career. The southpaw will be again looking to lit up IPL 2020 and produce match-winning performances for his IPL franchise. The 22-year-old is known for his power-hitting who can dominate even the best of the bowling attack.

Pant, in the latest net session video, looked in fine form as he took a special liking to the spin bowlers of his IPL side. The wicketkeeper batsmen will be once again vital of Delhi Capitals in the upcoming IPL season much like last year when they qualified for the playoffs after 7 years.

Meanwhile, Pant has so far played 54 IPL matches in which he has amassed  1736 runs at an average of 36.2 and at a phenomenal strike rate of 163. In the last edition of the IPL, he scored 488 runs in 16 matches, averaging 37.53 and a strike rate of 162.66 to go with it. The southpaw will be looking to once again continue his rich vein of form in the IPL and help DC will their maiden IPL crown.

Moreover the franchise this year will be again led up Shreyas Iyer and Ricky Ponting will be the head coach. The training camp of Delhi Capitals is now based at the Sharjah cricket stadium where the entire squad is preparing for IPL 2020.

The Delhi Capitals will be in action on the second day of this year’s IPL when they will face they will face the Kings XI Punjab on 20 September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
