Sunrisers Hyderabad face Kolkata Knight Riders in their second game of IPL 2020. Both teams have lost their opening games and thus this game becomes important for both the teams. Meanwhile, SRH skipper David Warner is on the verge of a personal milestone against the men in Purple. He is 75 runs behind overtaking Rohit Sharma as the highest run-getter vs KKR in IPL history.
David Warner was out in a rather unfortunate manner against RCB in their IPL 2020 campaign opener. He is one of the most consistent overseas batsmen in the IPL. He has gone past the 500-run mark for SRH every season since 2014. 2016 was his best season in the IPL when he scored 848 runs and also won the IPL title for SRH. He is on equal terms with Virat Kohli with 5 IPL tons to his name. Chris Gayle is leading the charts with six tons to his name.

David Warner Behind Rohit Sharma
Courtesy Rohit’s 80 off 54 balls against KKR in Abu Dhabi in match 5, he now has scored 904 runs in 26 matches against Dinesh Karthik’s men. While Warner stands at 829 runs from 21 matches including four fifties.
KKR are ahead in the head to head count among the two teams. In 17 matches played between the two teams, Kolkata have won 10 games, while SRH seven. However, in the last five matches between the two teams, SRH have won three games including the 2019 Eliminator in Kolkata.
Meanwhile, Mitchell Marsh’s injury has opened up an option for SRH to include Mohammed Nabi in the playing XI. He was the preferred choice over Marsh in the first game as well. Jason Holder, who has been roped in as Marsh’s cover is unlikely to play this game for the Sunrisers.
