Rishabh Pant has had a patchy IPL season as he has failed to score runs this time. A lot was expected of Pant since now he’s in India’s long term plans following MS Dhoni’s retirement from the shorter formats. But for some reason the pressure just got to Pant as his approach in every inning wasn’t like the fearless Pant we’ve been seeing over the years.

Moreover, his strike rate dropped from 162 to 109 this season which clearly shows the batsman has struggled left and right. It is also the first time since 2016 that Pant will finish the tournament without a single fifty as his highest score this season has been just 38.
