India’s premium spinner and one half of the ‘Kulcha’ duo had a disastrous IPL season for the second successive year. The mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy was picked ahead of Kuldeep Yadav and with Varun performing exceptionally well in every match, it meant Kuldeep had to sit out of for majority matches this season.

If we happen to compare the past two seasons of Kuldeep Yadav, last season he played nine matches wherein he picked up four wickets whereas this season he merely played three matches picking up one wicket. With the kind of seasons, Kuldeep has had with KKR it looks highly unlikely that they would look to retain him next season.
