The IPL 2020 is currently in full flow with the best players battling it out in the biggest T20 league. Now with almost all teams playing half of their league matches all are aiming to qualify for the playoffs. Like every season the top 4 teams after the league matches will play the playoffs.

The game of prediction has begun with several commentators and analysts predicting the teams who will enter the playoffs. Recently former England spinner Graeme Swann picked two underdog sides for whom he is cheering to go deep this season.

RR And SRH Will Qualify For Playoffs – Graeme Swann

Graeme Swann believes that Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have the potential to qualify for IPL 2020 playoffs. The former cricketer pointed out that the inclusion of Ben Stokes will change fortunes of the Royals. On the other hand, another Englishmen Johnny Bairstow will take SRH among the top 4 sides.

Swann said, “I’m definitely going with Sunrisers Hyderabad cause Jonny Bairstow not only looks dapper with his ginger hair and the orange shirt, amazing, it shouldn’t go, but it does, but he’s also smashing it”.

“And my fourth team is going more with my heart than my head, Rajasthan Royals, Tewatia hit 5 sixes off that over, and I fell for the Rajasthan Royals. They’ve lost all three games; they cannot get any worse. Ben Stokes is coming back. They are going to qualify,” said Graeme Swann while speaking on the Star Sports Cricket Connected show.

Meanwhile, both SRH and RR are presently in the bottom half of the IPL 2020 table. The two sides haven’t been consistent this season and have also been hampered with several injuries. So far the Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and RCB are currently dominating this season and are comfortably placed in the top 3 positions.

Furthermore, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals still have an outside chance of going to the playoffs if they hit a purple patch in their remaining league matches.
