Hardik Pandya found the most unfortunate ways to get out against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Earlier in the game, KKR won the toss and asked Mumbai Indians to bat first. Mumbai Indians Rohit Sharma scored 80 off 54 balls as he smacked six sies in his innings. He was fed off by short deliveries from the KKR bowlers off which he took full advantage. Rohit became the second Indian to hit 200 sixes in the IPL alongside MS Dhoni.

Rohit thus kept his love affair with KKR on as he played an innings to remember. He first added a 90-run stand with Suryakumar Yadav (47) and then followed it up with another 49-run stand with Saurabh Tiwary.

The KKR bowlers had a hard time against the Mumbai batsmen in their campaign opener. There were no yorkers from any of the KKR bowlers. However, they had to find unique ways of getting out Mumbai batsmen.
Facing Andre Russell in the 19th over of the Mumbai Indians innings, Hardik Pandya chopped his bat into the stumps as he got hit-wicket for 18 off 13 deliveries.

Their overseas recruit Pat Cummins went for 49 off his three overs. Kuldeep Yadav too had a bad day as he went for 39 off his four. Shivam Mavi picked 2 for 32 as Andre Russell and Sunil Narine picked one each.
Mumbai Indians got off to a losing start in IPL 2020 after conceding their first game against Chennai Super Kings. However, against KKR they have put up 195 on the board and looks good to defend the total. It will require a maverick effort from Kolkata Knight Riders to chase down the target.
