Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Jofra Archer smacked four sixes in the 20th over bowled by Lungi Ngidi to help his team finish on 216/7 after their 20 overs. Archer hit two back to back sixes, to follow it up with two more sixes, both of no-balls by Ngidi. It was a tall over by the Proteam pacer as he took 10 deliveries to complete the over. Royals scored 30 runs off the 20th over to post a competitive score in Sharjah. It was the most expensive over of the innings.
Earlier in the game, Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first. Sanju Samson (74) and Steve Smith (69) added a 121-run stand as Rajasthan were motoring away in the match. However, after the fall of Smith and Samson, Sam Curran dismissed Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia in quick succession to bing CSK back in the game.
However, Ngidi’s final over of the game shifted the balance of the game back in RR’s favor as he scored 27 off just 8 balls, including those four big sixes.
The CSK spinners, Piyush Chawla and Ravindra Jadeja went for 95 from their 8 overs. The Royals batsmen took advantage of the shorter boundaries as a total of 17 sixes were hit in the RR innings.

It was Jofra Archer’s innings that provided a good finish to the RR innings and on the other hand, it was a body blow to CSK as they lost the control of the game in the very last over of the innings.
Royals were 186 for 7 when the 20th over started and by the end of it was well over 200 which puts them now in a really good position to bag a win over CSK.
Having done his job with the bat, Jofra Archer will look to pick some key wickets with the ball, as RR look to defend their total.
