Chennai Super Kings lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous match in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. This was their fourth consecutive loss for MS Dhoni’s side as they are languishing at the bottom of the table. After controlling the game for a good part of 30 overs, CSK lost the game after having to play bad cricket for a 10-over phase. Win over CSK helped KKR to get back into winning ways and get inside the top four as well. Meanwhile, in a sudden series of events, some agitated fans after CSK’s loss have started giving MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva Dhoni rape threats after the match.

MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav were hugely criticised because of their lack of intent in the game. After Dhoni was dismissed by KKR spinner Varun Chakravarty in the 17th over, CSK needed 39 from 21 balls. Jadhav scored seven of 12 balls before he was dismissed as CSK ultimately lost the game by 10 runs.

Meanwhile, there is no denying that CSK’s IPL campaign is under the pump after four consecutive losses in their last four games. The management is also under pressure to find solutions to their problems before their next game against RCB on Saturday. This is the first time in the history of the IPL that CSK is at the bottom-half of the table after their first six games.
