Years back Mumbai Indians bought Glenn Maxwell for a million dollars only to bench him for the entire season followed by which they bought Chris Lynn as a backup for Quinton De Kock who was again benched for the entire season.
Now with Mumbai Indians releasing as many as 4 foreign players from their squad ahead of the 2021 IPL auction, we might just expect Mumbai Indians to bid for Dawid Malan who may go on to serve as a backup for Kieron Pollard or Quinton De Kock in the side. Yes, there’s always a strong possibility that Malan might warm up the benches for the majority of the season if picked by Mumbai Indians.
